JVBNA NJ celebrated the Mahavir Jayanti and Welcome to Samani Samatva Pragyaji and Samani Arjav Pragyaji on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at CPPM. Like the first light of dawn dispelling darkness, JVBNA NJ transformed into a space of sacred resonance — echoing the eternal message of Bhagwan Mahavir through devotion, unity, and deep spiritual reflection.
This auspicious celebration of the birth of Bhagwan Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, was not just an event — it was a spiritual experience that brought together our entire Sangh in joy, reverence, and purpose. The celebration commenced in a divine spirit, as Samaniji recited the sacred vibrations of the Navkar Mantra. This was followed by a soulful Swagat Geet by Khushaali group, gently ushering everyone into a mood of devotion with a melodious Mahavir Bhajan that filled the hall with a divine vibration — reminding us of the serene strength and compassion of Mahavir Bhagwan.
A moment that touched every heart was the return of our beloved Samanijis. Their presence felt like a sacred blessing — a homecoming of spiritual guides whose compassion and clarity have long anchored our community. As they stepped into the hall, everyone experienced the devotion, energy, and collective upliftment and shared a moving sentiment:
“It feels as though we are sitting in a Samosharana — a divine gathering where truth flows freely and all beings sit in peace.” Their words captured the spiritual essence of the entire celebration.
A special highlight was the guest speaker’s heartfelt speech in Hindi, Dr. Tillo Detige, Postdoctoral Fellow in Jainism – Rutgers University beautifully captured the relevance of Mahavir’s teachings in our daily lives. The message, delivered in our mother tongue, created a sense of closeness and deeply touched the audience
